Waiver Information
(Available for International and Domestic Applicants)
The UConn College of Engineering Graduate Programs will offer application fee waivers to 100 eligible applicants who meet the following criteria:
- Applying for Fall 2025 admission.
- Applying to a Ph.D. program.
- Holding a GPA of 3.80 or higher on a 4.0 scale (as determined by the College of Engineering for fee waiver purposes).
- Attending one of the virtual graduate open houses on November 22, 2024, or December 13, 2024.
Application Fee Waiver Request Window:
November 23, 2024, 8:00 AM ET – December 15, 2024, 8:00 AM ET
Rules and Reminders
- Use the same email address for all graduate applications.
- All applicants will be notified via email by December 20, 2024.
- Fee waiver recipients must complete and submit their graduate applications by December 27, 2024, before 8:00 AM ET. After this deadline, the fee waiver becomes invalid, and payment will be required.
- Each student is eligible for one fee waiver, which is valid for a single application.
- Applicants submitting multiple applications must pay the fee for each additional application.
- The UConn College of Engineering Graduate Programs reserves the right to approve or deny fee waivers at its sole discretion.
To be fully considered for funding opportunities, submit your application by January 1, 2025.
